Amost ready to begin

Hello everyone. Look, the new Airstream Living book by Bruce Littlefield - I have a collectors copy of it, a "One-off" print, where at the end of the book, I get the first 16 pages re-printed upside down....I now have a "normal" version signed by Bruce too! Thanks Bruce. Enjoy a couple more pictures here, until the main work begins. The trials and tribulations of winter! Snow is here on the ground and the Winter is still 20 days away. But, 5 months away is the Washington DC WBCCI unit's Cherry Blossum Rally, a rally we hope to take the Sovereign of the Road too! Here's a small update to the trailer work. The wood remains in the barn and the trailer is still up north. It is in line to go into Colin's shop www.gsmvehicles.com - next in line actually, where the floor and inner skin will be removed. It is ahead of a 56 Caravanner owned by Steve Hingtgen of www.vintagetrailersupply.com - formerly Airstream Dreams. The link listed here is to his blog. I'm trying to figure out how to add it to the left or right hand side of the blog. We are taking our gaucho to an upholsterer this weekend, as just last night we were discussing the color we want it, that we have to get with Colin and his wife, Suzanne (she is an Interior designer) to pick out out color schemes. We want it to look as it did 48 years ago. I hope to have some more info - stating the trailer has begun the surgery this week. See you down the road. Also, stay tuned for a www.theVAP.com Christmas present (something very special) around 22 December!

Rob,
My '59 Overlander looks just like this right now. How did you get the tub drain loose? Crossed screw drivers in drain felt like metal cross-pieces in drain would break. And did you grind off some part of fiberglass black tank to get it free? If so, what part, and with what tool???
