Welcome to our blog that will depict and follow our adventures of completely restoring our "New to Us!" 1958 Airstream Sovereign of the Road travel trailer. We picked it up from the famous RichardT of Bat Cave, NC. We've been an Airstream owner since 1998 when I bought a 1985 34' Limited trailer. Now, we've sold that, TO GO Vintage, we will be taking this trailer and making it "New" with the help of Colin Hyde and his business located in Plattsburgh, NY - GSM Vehicles (http://www.gsmvehicles.com). I'll be gutting it soon, and trailering it north from here in Central NY in the next month before the snow hits. Stay tuned for many pictures, and stories of our adventure. See ya down the Road!
